John Robson has played guitar since childhood, when he was seized by a love for 50s rock n' roll and the big band jazz which he was introduced to by his parents. He “turned professional” in the early 1990s, after a brief stint as a lab technician. His musical career has seen him play in many bands – top 40, rock, blues country, heavy metal & more – on the pub & club circuit in his native Teesside, north-east England and farther afield. He also teaches guitar and music to students of all abilities, and has worked in schools and colleges as a music tutor.
